You are spending time with the most important person in your life 

The one person whose time here is finite 

Your mother brought you up, and made you who you are today 

She sacrificed her years so that you would get the best education

So that the best future would open its doors to you 

Working tirelessly to put food on the table, to bring up children of virtue 

Is no task for the faint of heart 

Spend the time wisely, cherish it 

This moment will never come back 

Where you can spend leisurely time together 

In the midst of a global crisis and every norm is questioned 

Though the hours and days may feel mundane 

But it's in these moments that good memories are made 

Where true kindness is felt 

Love and kindness are all that we can give 

Our time here is limited 

Every day is a chance to be the person we want to be 

To say the words we want to say 

To do the things we want to do 

To see the places we want to see 

We must go when we have the time     

We value the present more than we do the future

That's why we go for things that we can see, instead of sacrifice for the future

There is infinite worth in both the present and the future 

If we live too much for the future, we forego our present 

If we live too much in the present, we shortchange our future 

There is a delicate balance to be had 

One that requires conscious calibration, deliberate effort 

Be still, be here 

Savour the hours that you have in your hands

They will never be here again
